In a strategic leap to fortify communication systems, RailTel Corporation of India Limited, a prominent CPSU under the Ministry of Railways, has triumphantly secured a substantial work order from Western Railway. Valued at Rs. 124.90 Crores, the order is dedicated to enhancing Communication Infrastructure Works.

- In a strategic move towards providing hassle free communication systems, RailTel Corporation of India Ltd. (“the Company”) has been awarded a work order from Western Railway for Implementation of unified communication infrastructure comprising IPMPLS LAN Infra, VOIP exchange, IP based control communication and replacement of UTN over Western Railway.
- The contract amount on which the order has been received is: Rs. 124,90,58,743/-
- The awarded contract completion period is: Before 03rd August, 2025.
