Scope of Work & Partner Selection:
- The scope of work will be as mentioned in the end Customer Organization RFP for Supply, installation and Commissioning for Enhancement of Data Centre and its Networking infrastructure at CoR premises.
- Introduction:
- Customer of RailTel (CoR) consists of more than 110 work centers across India and is interconnected by means of point-to-point leased lines. The IT wing of CoR i.e., DIT&CS has been developing large number of applications, indigenously developed ERP modules. which allows CoR users to carryout day to day IT activities.
- The present proposal seeks the turkey solution for carrying out an Enhancement of Data Center and its Networking infrastructure for CoR community for various needful IT service.
- It is proposed to provide and maintain DX based lnrack cooling, Network & server racks, UPS, DCIM and BMS, Network Monitoring Software, Fire Detector & Suppression System, Network Switches, IP CCTV with DVR Solution for CoR Intranet across CoR.
- Solution provider need to offer solution with no single point of failure in hardware and without any downtime in accessing Intranet applications and services hosted on offered IT infrastructure.
- Detail technical specifications will be provided to bidder after signing of NDA (Non- Disclosure Agreement) document.

Background of EOI:
- RailTel Corporation of India Ltd (hereafter referred to as ‘RailTel’) an ICT arm of Indian Railways has been in the forefront of building innovative platforms and solutions and vision to build range of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Services for its customers.
- In this regard, RailTel intends to participate in the tender floated by Defence Organisation (hereafter referred to as ‘CoR’) and accordingly seeks to select a suitable partner for pre-bid arrangement.
