Scope of work:
Gulbarga (GR) (Excl.)- Bidar (BIDR) (Excl.) is a single line section of 110 RKM(120TKM). The main traffic on GR- BIDR section is the Passenger trains & Goods trains. GR (Excl.)-BIDR(Excl.) section consists of Seven(07) Stations and Six(06) nos. Halt Stations. It falls in the State of Karnataka.
Salient details of the Proposed Rail Electrification are:
- 110 RKM(120TKM) Railway Electrification work from Gulbarga (Excl)-Bidar (Excl)
- 1 No of TSS substations
- 5 Nos. of SP/SSPs
- 1 No. OHE cum PSI depots.
- Tower car siding (150 RMT) having Tower Wagon Shed including inspection pit.
- 2 Nos. of LC gates with Guard Rails
- Raising Height of ROB parapet wall (10 location)
- Protective screen for FOBs/FOBs
- Total 20 Nos. of staff quarters at different locations.
The Nos./quantity mentioned above is only indicative/proposed and may vary during actual execution of the work.
Scope of Present Tender:
- The Present scope of work includes Gulbarga (GR) (Excl.)-Bidar (BIDR) (Excl.) single line section. In this tender all the works (Electrical, Civil & S&T) pertaining to the electrification of the Non-electrified GR (Excl.)-BIDR (Excl.) are to be carried out. Modifications in the existing signalling system ( indoor and Outdoor) includes modifications at stations, mid section interlocked LC gates between Gulbarga (Excl)- Bidar(Excl) section to suit 25 kV AC Electric Traction System and alteration at a station in connection with Tower wagon shed in Gulbarga (Excl)- Bidar(Excl). Modification/Additions in existing Telecom system between Gulbarga- Bidar section and at control and SCADA centre at Secunderabad.
- Railway electrification work includes OHE work of main line, yard lines & depots , SP, SSP, TSS/TWS, AT’s, Power Line Crossings, provision of special Mast on bridge & tunnel, fixing arrangement of OHE under FOB/ROB etc, Provision of SCADA including necessary modification at SCADA control centre at Secunderabad, General Electrical works of stations, service buildings and residential quarters etc.
- Civil work includes land development for TSS, SP, SSP, and along the track for Tower Car Siding (other as per required) etc, construction of 20 nos. residential quarters at different locations, Modification of FOB/ROB (if any) to suit the track electrification work, development of any other site/land if required.
