(Extra width to be covered at some locations as directed by the Engineer in charge). This shall include staking of approved alignment with concrete Pillars (150 x 150 x 900 mm size with 450mm projected above ground level) at an interval of 100m and with wooden/concrete pegs (50 x 50 x 450mm size) at every 20m where track is away from the existing track.
  • The concrete Pillars shall also be fixed on curves indicating transition portion, apex point, crown of curve, beginning and end point of circular curves, (5 locations for each curve), at major bridges two pillars one on either side including submitting list of distance of centre line of proposed BG line from centre line of existing BG line at every 20m interval for doubling project.
  • The survey control points established by Railways shall be used for the survey, else, an arbitrary coordinate system will be established which can be connected to main network by Railway later on.
  • Providing and fixing cast-in-situ or precast M-25 concrete pillars of size 150 x 150 x 900 (300 x 300 x 900mm in case of TBM) with 450 mm / 300mm projected above ground level on straight and curves as per Scope of Work with Tenderers’ own materials, tools and plants; including all leads and lifts and crossing of track etc.; including all taxes and royalties complete; including painting, marking the pillars at site; including setting out of curves at site indicating transition portion, apex point and crown of curve, beginning and end point of circular curves etc. Note-The pillars may be erected as directed by the Engineer in-charge, if decided these pillars shall work as boundary pillars, the distance of proposed center line of BG track shall be marked on these pillars.
  • Preparation and submission of Detailed Longitudinal sections (L-Sections), Detailed Plans and Cross Sections, on MX Rail/ AutoCAD showing 5 km in each sheet at a scale of 1:5000 longitudinal and 1:500 laterally/vertical.
  • The Longitudinal section shall have the details like km/chainages of the permanent features such as stations, level crossing, bridges (existing and proposed), FOBs, ROBs, RUBs tangent points of all curves (existing & Proposed), overhead crossing and other important physical features as decided by Engineer-in-charge, existing Rail level of BG track, ground level, existing formation level of BG line, proposed formation level, rail level, ground level at Toe of existing embankment, depth of cutting and height of bank with respect to ground level at toe of existing embankment gradient existing and proposed in BG, details of HFL/clearance/free board of existing bridges and proposed bridges, bed levels of each bridge.
  • Preparation and submission of the Detailed Plan on MX Rail/Auto CAD showing the alignment of Railway line, curve, curve details, magnetic bearing, details of bridges (existing/proposed BG), Platforms at station, Railway land boundary, level crossings, all permanent/ temporary /physical structures within the Railway boundary as required for L section, locations of tangent points of curve, turnouts, center line of station and its name, overhead crossing, underground crossings, alignment of the Road in the approached, Road network parallel to Railway corridor, configuration Nallahs/ River/ water streams etc. Plotting and submission of the Cross section on MX Rail/AutoCAD in 50m corridor on doubling side of center line of existing track, taking the longitudinal levels at intervals of 20m & at obligatory points and cross-sectional levels at an interval of 3m.
  • Rail levels & HFLs of all the bridges should be found out and indicated on the L-section.
  • The L-section & Plan shall be prepared with details sufficient enough to prepare GADs of Bridges/Cross drainage works, in form confirming to prevalent practice on IR to the satisfaction of Engineer-in-charge and necessary changes/ modifications during course of approval will be done by the Tenderers.
  • Preparing and submitting the Index Section & Plan showing all the existing field details/ ground features and proposals thereof similar to the detailed L-Section and plan but on scale 1 cm = 500 m Horizontal and suitable vertical scale in Hard Copy (6 Nos) as well as in Soft Copy and Two Copies on Polyester based tracing paper (100 to 150 Microns) complete as directed by Engineer-In-Charge.
