Hon’ble Lieutenant Governor of Delhi, Shri Vinai Kumar Saxena accompanied by Shri Kailash Gahlot, Hon’ble Transport Minister of Delhi, undertook a comprehensive visit to the RRTS project sites located at major transport hubs in Delhi – Sarai Kale Khan and Anand Vihar.

Shri Vinai Kumar Saxena, Hon’ble Lieutenant Governor of Delhi, along with Shri Kailash Gahlot, Hon’ble Transport Minister of Delhi, visited RRTS project sites at Delhi’s major transport hubs – Sarai Kale Khan and Anand Vihar.
At project site:
- Shri Vinay Kumar Singh, MD, NCRTC, and other senior officials of NCRTC accompanied them on this visit and provided an overview of the steps being taken to ensure seamless multi-modal-integration and interoperability of all the 3 corridors of Phase-1 of RRTS, and the challenging construction activities being carried out for timely implementation of the transformative RRTS project.
- Hon’ble LG appreciated the quality of work, pace of work, and detailed futuristic planning by NCRTC while implementing the RRTS project.
- He also assured the NCRTC officials of all possible assistance for timely implementation of the project.
- Further, the dignitaries took a ride on the Namo Bharat train from the Sahibabad RRTS station to Duhai Depot RRTS station.
- Hon’ble LG appreciated the smooth ride even at the speed of 150 kmph and the features provided in Namo Bharat trains to ensure safe, comfortable, efficient, and reliable regional transit services on the RRTS corridor.
