Smt. Chandrima Roy appointed as new Principal Chief Operations Manager of Kolkata Metro

Smt. Chandrima Roy, Indian Railways Traffic Service (IRTS) officer (1991 batch) has taken over the charge of Principal Chief Operations Manager (PCOM) of Metro Railway. She has replaced Shri Satyaki Nath who has been transferred to South Eastern Railway.

More Details:

  • Smt. Roy, comes with a strong technical background and has expertise in different spheres of Railway working. She started her career as an Assistant Operations Manager (AOM) at Dhanbad Division of Eastern Railway and has worked at various levels of different Zonal Railways. She has put o­n 28 years of service in Indian Railways.
  • Prior to taking over charges in Metro Railway Smt. Roy was Senior Deputy General Manager & Chief Vigilance Officer, South Central Railway.
  • She had earlier rendered yeomen services as Chief Passenger Transportation Manager (CPTM), Eastern Railway and Senior Deputy General Manager (SDGM), South Eastern Railway, Additional Divisional Railway Manager (ADRM), Secunderabad Division, South Central Railway.
  • She has also served as Railway Advisor & Counsellor Commercial in the High Commission of India at Dhaka.
