Uttar Pradesh Metro Rail Corporation (UPMRC) Limited has commenced the tender process by releasing e-tenders for Signage and Graphics at all Metro Stations (21 Nos.) for the Lucknow Metro Project.
Brief about Tender Submission:
Name of the Work: Maintenance contract for manufacture, supply and installation of Signage and Graphics at all Metro Stations (21 Nos.) as required from Chaudhary Charan Singh Airport to Munshipulia on N-S Corridor in UPMRC at Lucknow.

Scope of Works:
Floor Graphics:
Manufacturing, supplying and installation of floor graphics made out of 3m media as base cost vinyl sheet duly printed on eco printing in HP/Epson machine and further one layer fully covered with transparent over laminate as protector liner and all edges of the graphics shall be sealed by using a 3M edge sealer and pasted on platform as per the size, specification and graphics sizes as per direction of Engineer-in-charge. All shop drawing and coordination with other services is in scope.
Retro Reflective:
- Construction of sign: The retro reflective sheeting used on the signs shall consist of white or coloured sheeting having a smooth outer surface which has the property of retro reflection over its entire surface.
- It shall be weather resistant and exhibit colour fastness. It shall be new and unused and show no evidence of cracking, scaling, and pitting, blistering, edge lifting or curling and shall have negligible shrinkage or expansion.
- The sheeting tested for coefficient of retroreflection, daytime colour and luminance, shrinkage, flexibility, liner removal, adhesion, impact resistance, specular gloss and fungus resistance, 3 years outdoor weathering and its having passed these tests. Providing retro-reflective signage, as per the size, specification & graphics given by the engineer-in-charge.
Station Name Signage:
- The Channel Letter sign consists of a UPMRC logo of required 1200 mm dia. And channel letters in required fonts of Hindi and English in specified Font Height depicting the station name fixed on either side of the logo supported on a rigid supporting system in steel.
- Name of station and logo will be made out of 3mm thick Aluminium sheet to make it 3D Channel letter and front face of channel letter/logo will be fully covered with 5mm clear/frosted acrylic sheet which will be further fully covered with 3M 3635- 210 Dual colour vinyl film with UV printing of desired shade as approved by engineer-in-charge and internal lighting arrangement in channel letter & behind the glass will be using LEDs OSRAM/GE/Tnodonic complete.
- The signage should be free from hot spots and may have a diffuser film in order to achieve a desired effect including mounting at the required locations on the station building. (Payment to be done in sq ft for actual work done as per requirement).
Any Other Signage:
- The sign frame is to be Projected from wall etc. by Mild Steel projector pipe of required size and lengths including all accessories like bottom plate, locking plate, adjuster, bolts etc. complete as per drawing for following sizes.
- Entire assembly is to be removed from one location, pasting of new vinyl signage on the board as desired by engineer-in-charge and fixed at new location with necessary fixing arrangement as per site conditions.
- The mounting surface shall be required or finished as per surrounding area all complete at no extra cost. Suspenders shall be Powder coated MS. Seam welding shall be properly done. Powder coating shall be done only after all fabrication including bolt holes, guide channels/holes etc. have been drilled/CNC routed or cut into the members. Signage depicting no spitting and no parking etc. as per need.

- Completion of similar works in Railways/Metros/Airports/other government departments/Shopping malls/commercial complexes.
- Specific value-based requirements for qualifying tenders.
