Shri Gajanan Mallya, General Manager, South Central Railway undertook Inspection of Kazipet-Peddapalli-Nizamabad section on 19th August, 2021. He was accompanied by Shri A.K Gupta, Divisional Railway Manager, Secunderabad Division and other senior officials throughout the inspection.
- The General Manager inspected Kazipet Railway Hospital and reviewed the health care facilities available.
- Later, the General Manager inspected Kazipet Railway station, he examined the passenger amenities, circulating area and discussed further station developmental plans with the officials.
- He reviewed the progress of Road Under Bridge and LC gate at Kazipet town.
- The General Manager inaugurated a sewage treatment plant at Kazipet.
- Further, the General Manager carried out rear window inspection between Hasanparthi-Uppal stations.
- He reviewed the construction of goods shed at Hasanparthi and inspected Hasanparthi Railway station.
- The General Manager also inspected Uppal Railway station and goods shed where he reviewed the passenger amenities available.
- Shri Gajanan Mallya, General Manager carried out a rear window inspection between Kazipet-Peddapalli section.
- He inspected the Maneru bridge which is under-construction as part of the Kazipet-Balharshah third line project.
- He also reviewed the progress of third line works in Potkapalli-Kolanoor-Peddapalli section.
- Later, he inspected Peddapalli goods shed and examined the equipments and amenities available.
- The General Manager visited Peddapalli Railway station where he inspected the entire station premises, passenger amenities, inaugurated the Hamali rest room and planted saplings.
- Further, he also inspected the Sultanabad Railway station and goods shed and discussed on developmental plans with the officials.
- The General Manager conducted a detailed inspection of Karimnagar Railway station, he examined the passenger amenities available at the station and discussed on further plans of development and also examined the facilities at the goods shed.
- Further, he inspected the Gangadhara Railway station and goods shed.
- During the course of inspection, the General Manager received representations regarding development of the station from various public representatives.
- He also interacted with the media and briefed them on Railway plans for improvement of various facilities.
