Bhopal Metro Update: Tenders invited for supply of Standard Gauge Ballastless Track for for Underground & Elevated section

The Madhya Pradesh Metro Rail Corporation Limited (MPMRCL) has invited for Design, Supply, Installation, Testing and Commissioning of Ballastless Track of Standard Gauge, including Supply of Fastening System for Purple Line from AIIMS to Karond and Red Line from Bhadhbhada Square to Ratnagiri Tiraha, including Elevated and Underground sections along with Ballasted/Ballastless Track in Depot cum Workshop at Subhash Nagar” for Bhopal Metro Rail Project.

General Requirements:

  • This item shall cover the Design of track structure in viaduct, Tunnel and Depots including track specials and noise & vibration attenuation measures as specified in the Employer’s Requirements and also Proof checking with approved agency.

Quality Assurance System Plan (QASP):

  • This item shall cover the QASP as specified in the Employer’s Requirements. It shall essentially include, but not limited to:
    • Quality manual
    • Work instructions
  • The price shall also include the QASP development, maintenance and implementation as well as cost of document originals, 5 copies, and electronic files.

Health & Safety Management Plan (HSMP):

  • This item shall cover the HSMP as specified in the Employer’s Requirements. It shall essentially include, but not limited to: 
    • Health & Safety manual; Site safety plan
    • Risks assessments
    • Method statements
  • The price shall also include the HSMP development, maintenance and implementation as well as cost of documents originals, 5 copies, and electronic files.

Environmental Plan:

  • This item shall cover the Environmental Plan as specified in the Employer’s Requirements. It shall essentially include, but not limited to:
    • Environmental Management plan
    • Environmental Mitigation plan
  • The price shall also include the plan development, maintenance and implementation as well as cost of documents originals, 5 copies, and electronic files.

Project Implementation Plan:

  • This item shall cover the Project Implementation plan as specified in the Employer’s Requirements. It shall essentially include but not limited to:
    • Project Implementation
    • Management plan
    • Procurement and Manufacturing plan; Installation plan
    • Plan including works programme
    • Interface
  • The price shall also include the plan development, maintenance and implementation as well as cost of document originals, 5 copies, and electronic files.

Testing Procedure Plan:

  • This item shall cover the Testing Procedure Plan including integrated testing and commissioning as specified in the Employer’s Requirements. It shall essentially include but not limited to the details of tests to be carried out and the procedures and acceptable values to perform them. 
  • The price shall also include the plan development, maintenance and implementation as well as cost of documents originals, 5 copies, and electronic files.

Prices for integrated Testing and Commissioning:

  • This item shall cover full compensation for the integrated testing and commissioning of track work under the Contract in accordance with the drawings and specifications.
  • Compensation shall include for preparation, submittal, and revisions as required by the Engineer of testing plans and procedures; co-ordination with other Designated
  • Contractors; conduct of approved tests as directed by the Engineer on installations, revisions, re-testing, fault finding, adjustments and reworking as necessary; submittal of all test reports and other documents all to the approval of the Engineer.
  • Payment will be made for each Section after certification by the Contractor and acceptance of the Engineer that the Track works have successfully completed the test procedures, and have been set-to-work and all test results and other documentation; have been approved by the Engineer.

As Built Drawings: 

  • The Price under this item shall include the cost of supplying As-Built drawings, as specified in the Particular Specification of Employer’s Requirements. 
  • The As-built drawings shall be submitted in original, 5 copies (laminated) and electronic files.
  • The Price under this item shall essentially include but not limited to:
  • As built drawings depicting the completed works that have been certified as complete. Shop drawings containing information related to track works & track components.

Machines, Tools & Spares: 

  • The Price under this item shall include the cost of supplying Machines, Tools & Spares as specified in the Particular Specification of Employer’s Requirements, Chapter 10, Item 10.2.1. The Bidder shall include a detailed sheet indicating the price breakdown considered for individual items in Machines, Tools & Spares.
