Name of the Work: Upgradation of Schindler makes Elevator Control system from existing MX6 to Scalable Controller System for 21 Elevators of Reach-01 station and OCC Building of BMRCL.
The Tender Number is (BMRCL/O&M/E&MR1 SCH-Elev Upgrade/2023/07) for the above work. Estimated Cost is INR 2,03,70,000/- whereas the EMD amount is INR 3,05,550/- and the Contract Period for the same is 30 Weeks.

Introduction:
- Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited (BMRCL), a joint venture of Government of India and Government of Karnataka, is a Special Purpose Vehicle entrusted with the responsibility of implementation and operation of Bangalore Metro Rail Project.
- Bangalore Metro, christened as “Namma Metro”, not only enhances the aesthetic appeal of the Bangalore city skyline, but more significantly provides a safe, quick, reliable and comfortable public transport system. Beyond convenience, Namma Metro stands as a major environment friendly asset to the Bangalore City as it significantly contributes to the reduction of carbon emissions.
- Metro services have been in operation on 56 KM on East-West corridor – 25.6 km long, starting from Baiyappanahalli in the East and terminating at Kengeri Terminal in the West and on 30.4 km North-South corridor commencing at Nagasandra in the North and terminating at Silk Institute in the South. This is the First Metro rail project in India commissioned with 750V DC Third Rail Traction on Standard Gauge.

Eligibility:
Financial Turnover: Each Tenderer in its name should have achieved in at least two (02) financial years out of the last five (05) financial years i.e., FY 2018-19 to 2022-23, a minimum annual financial Turnover of Rs. 407.40 Lakhs.
Work Experience:
The Tenderer should be an Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) or authorised service provider/ Agency of Schindler make Elevators and should have an experience of executing “Similar Works” in any Central Govt./State Govt./PSUs/Indian Railways/Metro Rail/Reputed Pvt. Organisation during the last five (05) years and fulfil the following to establish the same.
- One (01) similar work costing not less than the amount equal to Rs. 162.96 Lakhs, or
- Two (02) similar works costing not less than the amount equal to Rs. 101.85 Lakhs, or
- Three (03) similar works costing not less than the amount equal to Rs. 81.48 Lakhs.
Similar works means “Design, Manufacturing, Supply, Installation, Testing and Commissioning or/and CAMC/AMC of 08 passenger and/or higher capacity lifts of Schindler make.”
Notes:
- The Tenderer shall provide Client’s reference letter(s)/Completion Certificates along with the Tender against (i) above.
- Last five (5) years shall be counted from 28 days prior to the date of submission of the Tender.
- All Tenderers shall provide the requested information accurately and in sufficient detail in Section III: Qualification information’s.
- The Tenderer shall provide satisfactory evidence acceptable to the Employer to show that the Tenderer has similar work experience.
