Scope of Work:

  • The scope of work of this tender is to supply the following wash bristles for CMRL Automatic  Train wash Plant in Koyambedu Depot located at Chennai, Tamil Nadu as per the following:

  • The dimensions of each bristles shall be as per the drawing mentioned in this section.
  • Successful bidder has to supply the bristles as per the dimensions in the drawing.

Consignee and delivery address:

  • The item shall be supplied within 8 weeks from the date of receipt of this PO at mentioned address: Chennai Metro Rail Limited, Koyambedu Depot, Administrative Building, Poonamallee High Road, Koyambedu, Chennai 600 107.

Packing and forwarding:

  • The cost for packing and forwarding is included in the total order price.
  • The materials shall be dispatched through supplier authorized transporter. Supplier will be fully responsible for the safe arrival of the consignment at our site.
  • Each package should be properly marked with description as well as case number giving net  weight and SI. No. if any, for easy identification.

Warranty & Guarantee:

  • Supplier is required to, without charge, repair or rectify defective goods or to replace such goods with similar goods free from defects. Any goods repaired or replaced by the supplier shall be delivered at the CMRL premises without costs to the CMRL.
  • Minimum One year warranty / guarantee (applicable from the date of Acceptance of the items by CMRL) should be given in the form of certificate indicating the warranty period along with the terms & conditions for the warranty / guarantee.

Financial Capabilities:

  • Average Annual Turnover during the last 03 (three) financial years, shall be at least ₹6.10 Lakh (Indian Rupees Six Lakh Ten Thousand only), calculated as total certified payments received for contracts in progress and/or completed within the last 3 years since 1st April 2019, divided by 03 years
  • Net worth should be positive during the last 3 financial years.

Experience:

  • The bidder shall have “similar work” experience, during last seven (07) years ending 31/07/2022 with minimum number of works as detailed below:
    • Three similar completed works costing not less than ₹8.14 Lakh, or
    • Two Similar Completed works costing not less than ₹10.18 Lakh, or
    • One Similar completed work costing not less than ₹16.29 Lakh.
  • Similar Works means supply of wash bristles to Automatic Train wash Plant.

About CMRL:

  • The Chennai Metro is a rapid transit system serving the city of Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. The Chennai Metro Rail Limited (CMRL), a joint venture between Government of India and the Government of Tamil Nadu, operates the Chennai Metro. It is the third longest metro system in India after Delhi Metro and Hyderabad metro.
  • The Phase-I of Chennai Metro Rail project covers a length of 45.046 km network and consists of two corridors i.e. Corridor-I (Blue Line) – From Washermenpet to Airport (23.085 Km), Corridor -2(Green Line) – From Chennai Central to St. Thomas Mount (21.961 km).
  • About 55% of the corridors in Phase-I are underground and the remaining elevated. Out of 32 nos of stations 13 nos are elevated stations and the remaining 19 nos are underground stations.
  • Inter corridor interchange stations are available at Alandur (Elevated) station and Chennai Central (Underground) station respectively. The system commenced service in 2015 after partially opening the first phase of the project.
