DMRC awards contract for maintenance work to Ayub Ali & Sons: Enhancing metro infrastructure

In a significant development, the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation Limited (DMRC) has awarded a crucial Letter of Acceptance (LoA) to M/s Ayub Ali & Sons for an essential maintenance project. The project encompasses miscellaneous maintenance works from Udyog Bhawan to Millennium City Centre Metro Station and its associated buildings.

Brief about the Tender:

In the month of March, 2024 the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation Ltd. has invited an Open e-tender through e-tendering system (i.e. Technical and Financial bid) from eligible applicants who fulfil qualification criteria as stipulated in clause 1.2 of NIT for Contract: OCM-1553: “Civil Contract for miscellaneous maintenance works at Udyog Bhawan to Millennium City Centre Metro Station and allied buildings.”

  • The Airport Express link between the Indira Gandhi International Airport and New Delhi has now propelled Delhi to the league of global cities which have high speed rail connectivity between the city and the airport. The DMRC today has over 300 train sets of four, six and eight coaches.
