Hon’ble Member of Parliament Dr. Satya Pal Singh laid the foundation stone of Jiwana Halt Station with Bhoomi Pujan. This station will be situated on the Delhi-Shahdara-Tapri railway section under the Delhi Division of Northern Railway.

Hon’ble MP (Loksabha) Dr. Satya Pal Singh performed Bhoomi Pujan and laid the foundation stone of Jiwana Halt station. Shri Shobhan Chaudhuri General Manager, Northern Railway, Shri Sukhvinder Singh Divisional Railway Manager, Delhi and Officers of Northern Railway were also present on this occasion.
Foundation Stone of Jiwana Halt station was laid and Bhoomi Pujan was performed by Hon’ble M.P (Lok Sabha), Dr. Satya Pal Singh. which is situated on the Delhi-Shahdara-Tapri railway section under the Delhi Division of Northern Railway.
For the last several years, there was a demand for a halt at Jiwana on this railway route. On 16.05.2023, the work of Jiwana Halt was listed by the Head Office and a tender was invited for the construction of the halt up to 29.08.2023.
Considering the importance of the work, approval was given to the agency on 18.09.2023 for the construction of the halt. A total amount of Rs 1.53 Croreshas been allocated for this work and this work will be completed in 6 months approx.
Elevated platform, station building, shed, benches and drinking water etc. will be provided at the Halt station.
Speaking on this occasion Hon’ble MP, Dr. Satya Pal Singh said that Jiwana Halt station would be a boon to the people residing in the close vicinity of this upcoming Halt station.
