About the Project:
- RITES Limited had received an order for supply of 60 nos. locomotive hauled passenger coaches, 05 set of DEMU trains and 05 locomotives to CFM, Mozambique Railways.
- These coaches and DEMU are under manufacturing and will be exported to CFM, MOZ very soon.
- Air Brake testing equipments will be required for Air Brake System testing of these coaches & DEMUs and existing Rolling Stock.
- The equipment shall be required to work in tropical condition under ambient temperature
- range of 0° degree to 50°C and relative humidity up to 98%.
Scope of Work:
Scope of work for “AIR Brake Testing Equipments” consists of the following:-

Technical Support:
- 10 sets of Operation and Maintenance manual, Spare Part Catalog and drawings shall be provided along with the supply of each equipments
- Spare Parts Support: The manufacturer shall guarantee to undertake to supply the spare parts necessary for the maintenance of equipment for 10 years.
- Training: Training shall be given to CFM, Mozambique officials and RITES officials for testing procedures at Manufacturer’s plant if required.
