  • This work pertains to “Construction of Roadbed, Earth Work and Track Linking (Excluding Supply Of Rails And Sleepers,Thick Webs Switches) Other Miscellaneous Works In Connection With Doubling Between Jaroli-jakhapura From Jaroli To Porjanpur Section on Khurda Road Division Of East Coast Railway And Chakradharpur Division Of South Eastern Railway In Odisha State, India.”.
  • This work is a part of the work of double line between Jaroli and Jakhapura stations of Chakradharpur Division under South Eastern Railway and Khurda Road Division under East Coast Railway.
  • The scope of this tender includes construction of balance roadbed, protection works, track linking works. The brief details are as under : 
    • Balance earthwork in filling and cutting in formation. 
    • Providing and laying of blanketing. 
    • Supply of P.Way material (except for rails, ordinary PSC sleepers and thick web switches), Ballast and Track linking 
    • Balance side drains, catch water drains and other misc. Works.

Introduction of Contract packages:

  • The tendered work is part of the project for doubling of existing railway line between Jaroli of South Eastern Railway and Jakhapura of East Coast Railway. The works are located on the alignment between Porjanpur-Jaroli and the details are given in the bid document. The bridges and track for doubling are proposed parallel to the existing track with a variable track centre of 5.3 meters to 50 meters on the left/right side of the existing single line.
  • The section of Porjanpur and Jaroli (28.85 Km) is a part of the doubling between Jaroli-Jakhapura (170.903 Km). It is proposed to take up the work of this section as it is equally important from the point of view of both passenger and freight traffic.
  • This work on the full stretch of 28.85 Kms between Jaroli and Porjanpur can be started immediately as major portion of land in 18 km length is available for execution of work.
  • The scope of work includes balance Earthwork, blanketing, Track Linking, misc. works on Double Line, Siding lines and Hot axle siding with TM Siding. Earthwork in formation, bridge works (other steel works), bridges works (steel items involving fabrication and erection), bridge works (supply of steel items), and This also includes supply of P.way materials, ballast, supply of cement, steel, provision of site facility. Total length of the proposed double line is 28.85 Kilometers. The proposed double line between Jaroli to Porjanpur has the following stations:
    • Jaroli
    • Jaroli A
    • Nayagarh
    • Porjanpur
