Scope of Work:
- The scope of work is related to extension of Metro Railway from Noapara to Barasat via Bimanbandar, Optical Fibre Communication in section Noapara- Bimanbandar along with Public address system, Train time Indication Board with down count, CCTV surveillance system, fibre/data cable laying, power supply, etc at new stations at Dumdum Cantonment, Jessore Road & Bimanbandar of Metro Railway, Kolkata. Dumdum Cantonment is a viaduct station consists of concourse, mezzanine & platform level.
- It has two platforms. Jessore Road station is ground level station with two platforms. Bimanbandar is an underground station with four platforms.
- Presently, OCC is situated at Metro Rail Bhavan at Park street station. OFC back bone is available from OCC to Noapara station. New OFC & data cable will have to be laid from Noapara to Bimanbandar section and subsequently integration with OCC connectivity.
- Noapara to Jessore Road in viaduct section, cable will be laid through cable duct and beyond Jessore Road to Bimanbandar in underground section cable will be laid over cable hanger.
- As per site requirement, if additional Fibre requires for proper functioning of the systems installed & integration with OCC equipment, separate OFC cable from Noapara to OCC at Metro Bhavan will have to be laid.
- Installation, testing & commissioning of Motorman monitor are under the scope of the work. Items required for motor man monitor are covered under the schedule of
- CCTV. Existing GPS clock is to be utilized for synchronization. TMS is also under the scope of work. TMS mainly consists of the video wall showing all 03 stations from Noapara to Bimanbandar layouts, platforms, signaling system (placement of signals, points and track sections with their symbols and numbers) and real time train position of all the trains simultaneously on both UP and DN lines all together at any point of time round the clock. Necessary input data for the video wall collected from the data logger server through necessary interface arrangements and CCTV monitoring for 03 stations platform along with auto train charting at Metro Bhavan central control at Park Street.
- Finally, installation, testing and commissioning of all systems and integration with OCC equipment as a whole as per tender conditions & specifications.
