Scope of Work:
- The scope of work is broadly described as to “Execution of Civil works for foundation, Provision of borewell and providing, supplying and fixing of pumping machinery and other miscellaneous works at 11 no. of Level crossing for Extension of Level Crossing over DFC track in connection with construction of Western Dedicated Freight Corridor phase-Il Vaitama – Sachin section”
- Scope of works is as indicated below but not limited to:
- True and proper setting out and layout of the works, providing location marks, bench marks etc.as per (XYZ) coordinates system adopted by Employer, preparation of report and plans.
- Site Clearance, Relocation of utilities & Removal/shifting of existing structures or debris if any as identified within the work area.
- Foundation works- PCC, Brick work, Rubble stone soling, cement plaster, Steel cutting & bending, Shuttering & RCC work complete.
- Construction of cable trench and related works- provision of Aluminium chequered plate with handle for covering trench, supply and installation of Angle strut.
- Supply of Reinforcement Steel in accordance with relevant IS specifications (with latest alterations) -latest IS 1786 specifications, is in scope of bidder. The reinforcement steel Bars shall be free from defects in material and workmanship. IRCON may reject any goods or any part thereof that fail to pass any test and/or inspection or do not conform to the specification.
- The bidder shall be liable to arrange the necessary replacement of the defective Reinforcement Steel Bars free of any charge. All replacements shall be made free of cost at destination. The replaced reinforcement steel bars can be taken over by the bidder for disposal as he deems fit.
- All works pertaining to provision of water Supply i.e. drilling of bore well, inclusive of soil investigation, Providing, supplying and fixing 3 phase Submersible pumping machinery, fittings, Water tank etc complete.
- All works pertaining to Drainage work, Sanitary Work, Septic tank provision complete.
- All Finishing works
- Co-ordination with all stake holders involving PMC, DFCC and IR regarding execution of work, utility shifting if any etc.
- Any other item of work as may be required for completing the scope of works including all incidental works in all respects in accordance with the provisions of the contract.
- Work is to be carried out as per the approved drawings, specifications and instructions of the Employer Representative. Items of works to be executed shall be as per the BOQ/ Schedule of the contract, DFCCIL Specifications and as per instructions of the Employer Representative.
Others General:
- All aspects of quality control and quality assurance of Works including documentation.
- Providing measures for prevention / mitigation of environmental impacts due to construction activities.
- All works to be executed complying to SHE (Safety Health & Environment) Requirements as mentioned in client’s Agreement with employer.
- Handing over of the works on completion after due site clearance to engineer/ employer.
- Rectification of the defects in the completed works during the defect liability period.
- Execution of any other item of work for the construction and completion of the Works in accordance with the provisions of Contract including all incidental items as well as preparation and submittal of reports, plans as required.
- During the period of the contract the right of way and all existing roads shall be kept open for traffic for a safe and usable condition. Traffic control and traffic diversions shall be provided as necessary to protect the works and maintenance will be carried out as directed by the Client Representative and provided in the contract.
