IRCON invites bids for supply of Air brake test rack for testing pneumatic valves

IRCON International Limited has invited online bids in two packet systems on prescribed forms from Class-I Local bonafide firms / companies having requisite experience and financial capacity for execution of the work detailed in the table given below.

  • Completion Period:
    • Supply: CIF delivery within 4 months from the date of LOA/Purchase Order.
    • Installation & Commissioning: Within 1 month after intimation by IRCON.

Scope of Work:

Supply:

  • Supply, Installation, Testing & Commissioning of Air Brake Test Rack for Testing Pneumatic Valves. Detailed Specification as per Section-VI. 
  • M&P offered must be of proven design and capacity. It must be capable of continuous operation for long periods in temperatures from 0 to 50 degrees Celsius and humidity up to 98%.

Installation and Commissioning:

  • The Bidder shall Install and Commission the M&P’s at their respective place of delivery as per time schedule chart. The tenderer or its agent will be required to inspect the consignment at the consignee’s premises before unpacking is done and carry out a Joint Check of the receipt of M&P/ its components to avoid subsequent complaints regarding short shipment or damage during transit.

Responsibilities of Supplier:

  • Loading/Unloading/ Road Transport of the M&P and its accessories etc. at respective sites shall be done by the supplier at his own cost. Supplier will ensure presence of his representative for safe unloading of the M&P’s. IRCON shall not be liable for any damages, demurrages on account of the same. Further, internal movement of M&P to the site of commissioning shall also be done by Supplier. Supplier will intimate, at least 3 days before, the expected time of arrival of M&P at site for information only. Further, internal movement of M&P to the site of installation shall also be done by Supplier.
  • All facilities required for the Installation & commissioning such as manpower, material handling equipment like cranes, lifting arrangement etc., tools & tackles, welding or cutting machine, first fill of all lubricants/oils etc. shall also be the responsibility of the Supplier.
  • Any other resources/facilities required as deemed necessary by Supplier.
  • The supplier shall depute his authorized experienced commissioning team immediately at site at his own cost on receipt of call from consignee.

Responsibilities of Supplier:

  • IRCON/NMDC shall provide suitable site for construction of foundation (if required).
  • IRCON/NMDC shall provide electricity from the nearest point of power connection. Bidder/Supplier has to arrange their own cable and accessories to draw the power supply from the nearest point. Nothing will be provided at site. Bidder/Supplier has to make his own arrangement for skilled/unskilled manpower, Cranes, welding/cutting handling of equipment, water, watch & ward etc. till installation & commissioning and handing over at his own cost.

Proving Test Certificate (PTC):

  • After commissioning of equipment, Final Inspection & Commissioning Certificates shall be issued by IRCON/NMDC.
