Wheelset Lathe
Description
The wheelset lathe is designed to profile the wheels, the brake discs of a disassembled wheelset.
Product scope – SCULFORT Wheelset Lathe
SCULFORT offers 3 ranges of wheelset lathes :
- TDP – Double portal wheelset lathe with two tool saddles, allows the complete profiling of a wheelset in less than 25 minutes.
- TSP – Single portal wheelset lathe with one tool saddle, allows complete profiling of an axle in less than 35 minutes.
- TSPA – Single portal wheelset axle lathe, allows the complete profiling of an axle of a wheelset in less than 30 minutes
Underfloor wheel lathe
Description
SCULFORT Underfloor Wheel Lathe was developed in consultation with the operators of metro, tramway and train.

TF2000 – Underfloor Wheel Lathe allows the profiling of 2 wheels of the same wheel set in less than 30 minutes.
TF 2000 TM – Tandem Underfloor Wheel Lathe allows the profiling of 4 wheels of the same bogie in less than 40 minutes.
TF2000HD – Heavy Duty Underfloor Wheel Lathe allows the profiling of 2 wheels of the same wheel set in less than 30 minutes.
TF2000HDTM – Tandem Heavy Duty Wheel Lathe allows the profiling of 4 wheels of the same bogie in less than 40 minutes.
Electrical shunter
Description
The remote controlled battery shunter is designed to position the train above the underfloor wheel lathe.
