RVNL secures major contract for electrification work in Araria-Thakurganj new line section

In a significant stride, Rail Vikas Nigam Limited (RVNL) has achieved a significant milestone by securing a substantial contract from NFR-Construction, valued at Rs. 95.95 Crores. The contract encompasses the electrification of OHE and TSS works for the Araria-Thakurganj new line section.

  • Rail Vikas Nigam Limited has received a Letter of Acceptance from NFR-Construction for “Design, supply, erection, testing & commissioning of electrification OHE and TSS works of Araria – Thakurganj new line section.”
  • The contract amount on which the order has been received is: Rs. 95,95,44,544.95/-
  • The awarded contract completion period is: 240 Days.

Detailed Name of the Work:

Engineering, procurement, construction of design, supply, erection, testing & commissioning of 25 kV, 50 Hz, single phase, AC, electrification OHE and TSS works of Araria – Thakurganj new line section in connection with new line project of Araria – Galgalia of N.F. Railway, including associated works and supply, erection, modification, testing and commissioning of SCADA for the section. (106.958 RKM/ 119.27 TKM). (in EPC mode).
