  • Chennai: The Integral Coach Factory (ICF), Chennai on Tuesday rolled out its 60,000th coach. In 2018-19, the ICF produced 3,262 coaches, thus making it the world’s largest rail coach-manufacturing unit, said Mr. Rajesh Agrawal, Member (Rolling Stock), Railway Board, on a visit to ICF.   • Continuing the commitment towards improving passenger comfort and satisfaction, Indian Railways planned to upgrade 140 rakes of ICF trains in 2018-19 under a scheme called ‘Project Utkrisht‘. Out of these, Western Railway was allotted 20 rakes for upgradation in 2018-19. Western Railway upgraded 19 rakes by March 2019, which was the highest in the Indian Railways.   • The NMRC (Noida Metro Rail Corporation) will organise a special camp for issuing the smart cards for Noida Special Economic Zone (NSEZ) employees and entrepreneurs on Friday, officials said.   • Asian Development Bank (ADB) has signed an agreement to provide $750 million equivalent in Indian rupee long-term financing to electrify railway tracks in India, it said.
