RailTel registers its consolidated income of Rs. 385 crore in first quarter of the financial year 2022-23

RailTel announced its consolidated income of Rs. 385 Crore in 1st quarter of FY 22-23 in its 134th board meeting held on 10th August, 2022.

More details:

  • This is a growth of 22% over consolidated income of Rs. 315 Crore of 1st quarter of FY 21-22. With this, RailTel has posted a consolidated Profit before tax amounting to Rs. 35 Crore and Profit after tax of Rs. 26 Crore in 1st quarter of FY 22-23 on consolidated basis.
  • This is a growth of 25% in Profit before tax and growth of 24% in Profit after tax in comparison to 1st quarter of FY 21-22.

Speaking about the result Ms. Aruna Singh, Chairman and Managing Director, RailTel said “it is very heartening to see the first quarter results, we have shown a very positive growth both in revenue and the bottom line. Considering the projects on hand such as video surveillance system, tunnel communication works and Defence sector projects I am very hopeful that we will close the year with even better results.
