Shri Pramod Kumar presides over a work review meeting at N.C. Railway headquarter

Two days’ Works Review Meeting presided over by GM/NCR Shri Pramod Kumar concluded at North Central Railway headquarter. During the marathon meeting a total of more than 2000 works in NCR were critically examined.

More details:

  • The reviewed works included those of traffic facilities; passenger amenities; road safety works including Road Over Bridges, Road under Bridges; computerization; electrification; technology upgradation; track renewal among others.

  • General Manager while reviewing the works which have been physically completed and are yet to be closed o­n account of paper formalities, instructed to expedite the procedural formalities. The need to expedite the o­ngoing work was stressed by the General Manager.
  • At the outset GM said that the quality of work should be of highest order and level of supervision needs to be the topmost.
  • Executing agency wise review of works was done with a threadbare analysis of feasibility issues, delays if any. Works reviewed included 681 works of DRM/Prayagraj, 448 works of DRM/Agra, 452 of DRM/Jhansi , 257 works of Chief Administrative Officer/ Construction and 322 works of other agencies.
  • Principal Chief Engineer, North Central Railway Shri SK Mishra moderated the discussions while plan head coordinators apprised about the details and status of the works. While speaking o­n the financial health, Principal Financial Advisor Shri YK Shrivastava informed that there is no dearth of funds for infrastructure and safety works.

  • The meeting was attended by the DRMs of Agra Shri Anand Swaroop, Jhansi Shri Ashutosh and Prayagraj Shri Mohit Chandra along with the Sr. Divisional Engineers(coordination).
  • From headquarters, the meeting was attended by AGM(in charge) Shri Kamlesh Shukla, CAO/C- Shri Sharad Mehta PCME- Shri Ajay Kumar Rana , PCCM- Shri Shashi Kant Singh, CPTM- Shri P.K Ojha, PCEE-Shri Satish Kothari, PCSTE- Shri M.K.Beura, PCSC- Shri Ravindra Verma, PCPO-Shri Awadhesh Kumar, CM(IT)-Shri Ankur Chandra and other senior officers.
