The ridership details from January 2023 to July 2023 are as follows:

- July 28, 2023 recorded the highest passenger flow for the month, with 3,08,495 passengers.
- In the month of July, 2023 a total of 29,10,875 passengers have utilised the QR Code ticketing system, 48,85,843 passengers have used Travel Card Ticketing System, 2,97,348 passengers have used Token System, 5,382 passengers have used Group Ticketing System and 1,54,244 passengers have used NCMC Singara Chennai Card.
- CMRL offers a 20% discount on Metro Travel Card and Mobile QR Code ticketing (Single, Return, Group Tickets and Q.R Trip passes). Passengers can also book their tickets through CMRL Whatsapp Ticketing System (+91 83000 86000).
