Scope of Work:
- The contractor shall execute the work for Supply, testing and commissioning of the working train model of signalling system in DMRA .The contractor shall also provide support in case of any structural damage or wear and tear for the period of 01 year from the date of completion of work.
- The employer requirements pertaining to the Signalling Working Train Model to be installed at DMRA , ground floor of Block-A are, but not limited to, as below:
- Supply, installation, testing and commissioning of motorized trains of ‘O’ gauge with two cars (look alike metro trains) independently controlled by DCC controller with sound of acceleration, deceleration and horn as per the specified technical specifications document and quantity as per BOQ & suggested layout diagram of working train model.
- Supply, installation, testing and commissioning of 03-aspect signals having red, violet and green aspect with or without route indicator, Buffer stop signals having only red aspect at the end of tracks and Repeater signals with Violet and Green aspect in the working model as per the conditions mentioned in Annexure-B (attached below with this document) and the specified technical specifications document and quantity as per BOQ & suggested layout diagram of working train model in Tender Drawing document.
- Supply, installation, testing and commissioning of points with point machine for diverting train from one track to another and curved tracks in the working model as per the specified technical specifications document and quantity as per BOQ & suggested layout diagram of working train model in Tender Drawing document.
- Supply, installation, testing and commissioning of at least 02 sections of axle counters with axle in and axle out counters and showing corresponding presence of vehicle on Visual display unit the working model as per the specified technical specifications document and quantity as per BOQ & suggested layout diagram of working train model in Tender Drawing document.
- Supply, installation, testing and commissioning of track circuits sections showing Zbond/S-bond and Tuning unit boxes in each section and corresponding presence of vehicle on Visual display unit in the working model as per the specified technical specifications document and quantity as per BOQ & suggested layout diagram of working train model in Tender Drawing document.
- Supply, installation, testing and commissioning of Computer base system with visual display unit for controlling and displaying the gears of working model including train movement and setting of route in the working model as per the specified technical specifications document and quantity as per BOQ & suggested layout diagram of working train model in Tender Drawing document.
- Supply, installation, testing and commissioning of route control from computer base system or any other suitable arrangement for controlling train movements in the working model as per the specified technical specifications document and quantity as per BOQ & suggested layout diagram of working train model in Tender Drawing document.
- Supply, installation, testing and commissioning of OHE masts, Junction boxes of signals, point machines and Track circuits, Digital axle counters and stations etc. in the working model as per the specified technical specifications document and quantity as per BOQ & suggested layout diagram of working train model in Tender Drawing document.
- Supply, installation, testing and commissioning of Dust protection transparent cover for complete model as per the specified technical specifications document and quantity as per BOQ & suggested layout diagram of working train model in Tender Drawing document.
- Supply, installation, testing and commissioning of Platform Screen Door at one of the platform and opening of at least one platform screen door when train stopping at normal stopping point of a platform as per the specified technical specifications document and quantity as per BOQ & suggested layout diagram of working train model in Tender Drawing document.
- Supply, installation, testing and commissioning of Emergency stopping mechanism for train at one of the platforms as per the specified technical specifications document and quantity as per BOQ & suggested layout diagram of working train model in Tender Drawing document.
- Supply, installation, testing and commissioning of all the electrical power cable and other cables used in the working model as per the specified technical specifications document and quantity as per BOQ & suggested layout diagram of working train model in Tender Drawing document.
- Supply, installation, testing and commissioning of a customized model base of size 08’0” x 14′ 0” that can be extended if needed as per the specified technical specifications document and suggested layout diagram for table/mounting base in Tender diagram document and quantity as per BOQ.
- Supply, installation, testing and commissioning of a working model having at least 03 stations including 02 terminal stations and 01 intermediate station with short loop facility as per the specified technical specifications document and quantity as per BOQ and suggested layout diagram of working train model in Tender Drawing document.
- Supply, installation, testing and commissioning of separate tracks for up line & down line movement as per the specified technical specifications document and quantity as per BOQ and suggested layout diagram of working train model in Tender Drawing document.
- Supply, installation, testing and commissioning of friction type buffer stop along with each buffer stop signals as per the specified technical specifications document and quantity as per BOQ and suggested layout diagram of working train model in Tender Drawing document.
- Supply, installation, testing and commissioning of track locking concept that is when point zone track is occupied or train is available on a point, then movement of that point is not permitted as per the specified technical specifications document and quantity as per BOQ and suggested layout diagram of working train model in Tender Drawing document.
- Supply, installation, testing and commissioning of approach locking concept that is when train is available on approach section of a route, route will not release immediately and will take 90 sec to release as per the Annexure –B (attached below with this document) and specified technical specifications document and quantity as per BOQ and suggested layout diagram of working train model in Tender Drawing document.
- Supply, installation, testing and commissioning of route locking concept that is when the entry signal of a route is proceed aspect then all the route elements like points are locked and cannot be altered as per the specified technical specifications document and quantity as per BOQ and suggested layout diagram of working train model in Tender Drawing document.
The other requirements pertaining to the contract is given as below:
- Supply, laying, installation, testing and commissioning of power cables for various locations of working models inside the rooms. The power supply point for different equipment is provided by DMRC. However, the contractor has to tap power from these power points. Supply, installation and commissioning of various MCB’s installed for the model is within the scope of the contractor.
- Proper electrical earthing must be ensured for all equipment being installed in model by the contractor.
- All software and firmware as supplied shall be with license given to DMRC for lifetime and any upgrades within the currency of contract shall be free of cost.
- The contractor shall prepare all the configurations in network devices and other working model devices and submit them to DMRC.
- The contractor shall prepare necessary design documentation, training document, application engineering, configuration detail, site drawing etc. and submit to employers for evaluation and approval.
- The contractor will do all configurations, programming in the Signalling working model.
- Contractor shall prepare all as-built drawings and documents and the same will be submitted to DMRC along with a method statement for installation to be carried out.
- Contractor shall coordinate with DMRC representative for all interface requirements for other departments like civil and electrical works etc. and shall work in coordination with other department contractors.
- Contractor shall submit method statement of step-by-step procedure for installation of working model equipment in DMRA.
- Contractor shall inspect the site/locations where the Signalling working model is proposed to be installed shall plan, site activity, prepare drawing and prepare details.
- All cable/connector/installation material required for the work to be supplied and installed by contractor. Cable trays, cable jumpers, cable ties, saddles, nut bolts, thimbles etc. are to be provided by the contractor for laying of cable, hanging of equipment along with wall/site structure. Any small civil work for drilling in the wall/making hole in the wall or making small cut-outs and restoring the same after completion of activity will be in scope of the contractor.
- Contractor also shall provide training of installed Signalling working models to DMRC staff.
- All the systems installed and commissioned, will be under the contractor support for any wear & tear and other structural damage for a period of 12 months from the date of successful commissioning of the system.
- Any other items required for successful completion of the work shall be part of this contract.
- DMRC reserves the right to change/modify the tender work.
Eligibility:
Work Experience:
- The tenderers will be qualified only if they have successfully completed work(s), completion date(s) of which falling during the last five years ending on the last day of the month previous to the month of tender submission as given below:
- At least one “similar work”** of value of ₹ 47.56 Lakh or more, or
- At least two “similar works” **each of value of ₹ 29.73 Lakh or more, or
- At least three “similar works”**each of value of ₹ 23.78 Lakh or more
- Supply, Installation, Testing and commissioning of working models related to any Transport system for any Government organization/ PSU /Enterprise.
- Entire completion cost shall be considered for evaluation, if any of the activity as defined in similar work is in the scope of work.
- The entire cost mentioned in the completion certificate issued by the client shall be considered for evaluation and the quantum of similar work shall not be derived from the BOQ.
