Eastern Railway has been consistently displaying consistent performance in different facets during the ongoing financial year under the dynamic leadership of Shri Arun Arora, General Manager.
More details:
- In the field of goods revenue, Eastern Railway has scripted a new history by loading 44.68 million tonnes during the period from 1st April to 31 October 2022.
- As against 40.57 million tonnes loaded during the corresponding period of last year, thereby registering a substantial growth of 10.13%.
- In the month of October 2022, Eastern Railway has also achieved to load 5.93 million tonnes.
- In the last month, Eastern Railway has also managed to secure ₹473.6 Crores as freight earning.
- Eastern Railway has also achieved a new feat by earning ₹3433.85 Crores during the period from 1st April 2022 to 31 October 2022.
- As against ₹3214.17 Crores during the corresponding period of last year i.e. 1st April 2021 to 31 October 2021, thereby registering a substantial growth of 6.84%.
